Caprese Bites: The Most Adorable Little Appetizer!

Caprese salad is a simple Italian salad, typically served as a first course. With only 3 staple ingredients (ripe tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, and fresh basil leaves), it’s a very quick and easy meal to prepare. The salad was originally created after the domestication of tomatoes in Italy in the 16th century and was made to resemble the colors of the Italian flag (red, white, and green).
